A Note From

Miles Nadal

FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

I started my first business in 1980, when I was 22. There have been a tremendous number of technological and other changes since that time, but one early lesson has been repeatedly reinforced over 40-plus years: You are only as strong and as successful as the people around you.

My faith in the power of human capital has only grown stronger over time. That is why it is foundational to Peerage Capital. All of us are deeply committed to the partnership model. We partner with entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses and experienced teams. We work with them and pull together the customized resources that will optimize their performance and their growth. It may not always be the easiest way to proceed, but it is the best way we know to build – and to scale – long-term resilience in any enterprise.

Fundamentally, at the root of these relationships are mutual trust and respect. All of us at Peerage endeavour to earn both those things every day. And we are privileged to have that opportunity.

Providing safe spaces and access to programs that improve chances for success, Miles is devoted to bringing hope and opportunity to children and youth in communities around the world.

Education

Miles credits his mother with instilling in him the value of a good education. She worked so hard that somehow Miles’ brother, who went to podiatry school in the States, and Miles got an education. Always aware that he didn’t complete a formal post-secondary degree, Miles contributes to educational initiatives in honour of the values his mother taught him and as a way to respect that legacy.

Health Care

Miles’ 12 Principles of Partnership include partnering with people who have the human compassion gene. Giving time, talent, and treasure is something he feels is inherently important and that by supporting the researchers, doctors, and groundbreaking initiatives in health care is a way to honour those who provide the care and, of course, those who receive it.
