SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY CANADA LAUNCH PARTY

On the afternoon of June 12, 2019, Peerage Realty Partners was thrilled to host over 140 Ontario-based Sotheby’s International Realty Canada agents. Guests were invited to enjoy cocktails and appetizers while meandering the spectacular private Dare to Dream Classic Cars Museum. The Museum is attached to Peerage’s Head Office and is home to Peerage Founder Miles S. Nadal’s outstanding immaculate car collection.

Newly appointed Sotheby’s International Realty Canada’s President and CEO and former Peerage Realty Partners Vice President of Corporate Development, Don Kottick, gave a warm introduction to Miles, outlining his substantial business and philanthropic accomplishments.

Don highlighted that the Museum has served as an incredible venue for Peerage partners and their clients. Events have included book launches and fireside discussions for Stephen Harper, David Kohler, Anthony Scaramucci along with a multitude of philanthropic events. He added that famous visitors have included John McEnroe, the band Rush, and Jay Leno.

Miles went on to give a dynamic and candid speech regarding what inspired him to collect cars as well as his deep enthusiasm for the Sotheby’s brand followed by a lively Q & A from the audience.

Miles shared how he came from humble beginnings. He and his family lived in a small apartment and for many years they did not have a car.

Miles recalled purchasing a ticket at a charity auction to meet Jay Leno and gain a behind the scenes tour of his renowned car collection. He was so inspired that he immediately began to set the wheels in motion to purchase one of the world’s first electric vehicles. Miles’ generous nature shone through as he spoke of the thrill that he receives in sharing the collection with friends, Peerage partners and their clients.

Miles spoke of his long admiration of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, describing it as “the most talked about, written about, impactful, residential real estate brokerage network in the world.” With “$112 Billion in Global Sales Volume, 22,500 Sales Associates and 990 offices worldwide.”

He went on to include that Peerage believes in the resilience and longevity of the real estate industry and is committed to building the pre-eminent network of brokerages across North America. While the industry is experiencing unprecedented change, Peerage’s focus is on partnering with firms who attract and retain top talent and offer the highest level of professional advice and service.
